Much like treating your own health, the safety and soundness of your home or your car, periodically reviewing the state of your business’s legal affairs is for your peace of mind. Additionally, if you are bidding for a particularly high-stakes contract, trying to raise debt funding or an equity investor, having your legal affairs in order will not only help you close a deal but will enable you to attain better terms.

The Process

We will start with a 30-minute consultation with you to understand your business model, regulatory environment, critical partnerships and your objectives. During this consultation we will assess whether an Essential Review or a Comprehensive Review best suits your needs. 

Following that preliminary assessment, we will provide you with a questionnaire and request copies of the key documents pertinent to the review categories set out below.

Following our furnishing you with a report, a follow-up 30-minute consultation with the relevant members of your management team might be required for clarifications, as a result of which a final report containing our findings and the suggested remedial actions are set out.

The Essential Review

The Essential Review focuses on the top four of the review categories and might be suitable for small to medium-sized enterprises and organisations that already have some legal management in place (whether through external advisors or internal resources).  

The anticipated time commitment to carry out the Essential Review on your side is between two to three hours, assuming your records are reasonably accessible. 

The fixed price for the Essential Review is £750.00 plus VAT.

The Comprehensive Review

The Comprehensive Review is suitable for larger enterprises with a longer trading history, most extensive commercial operations, as well as SMEs seeking clarity about their current legal position with a specific goal in mind (e.g., a share capital injection).  The Comprehensive Review examines your business affairs through the lens of all nine categories. 

The total time investment for the Comprehensive Review will depend on the scope of areas being examined, the number of stakeholders we need to engage with and the volume of materials to be reviewed. 

This service is also available on a fixed fee basic, the precise amount will depend on the scope of the exercise and will be confirmed to you before we proceed.
